Relight the dark

Matter Halo, two creative minds from Jakarta, Indonesia, believing to create meaningful music out of limitation since 2015. Led by multi-talented artist Ibnu Dian (Renowned producer for local musicians such as Nadin Amizah and Hindia) and Ganidra Rai, they have made their mark in the Alternative/Indie-Rock genre. Their sophomore album, "Nightvision" (2020), blends irony and sincerity in the "New Sincerity" movement. Side A offers joyful dance tunes, including popular singles like "Million" and Netflix Film soundtrack “Runway Lights." Side B presents 21 minutes of serene Brian Eno-inspired Ambient Music.

In 2023, Matter Halo released the deluxe edition of "Nightvision" titled "Nightvision (Love Is God)." This album includes the original tracks from Side A and Side B, along with 9 new tracks, featuring collaborations with talented artists from neighboring countries, such as Pamungkas (ID), FUGO (MY), TALA (PH), Hanbee (NZ), The Kopycat (TH), Our Shame (TW), and Akiko (JP), as well as their own fans known as the Radiants.

Their music has been featured in major Indonesian films, and they have received numerous awards from the Anugerah Musik Indonesia. Matter Halo's captivating performances are showcased in their visually stunning music film, "Nightvision Side A (Music Film)," and their unique "center stage" concert concept, “An Evening With The Halos 2022 Jakarta.”
